PURPOSE:To obtain at a low cost a means which receives three types of information and then displays them, by sharing a device which receives the character figure information transmitted through a wire with a device which receives and displays the TV broadcast and character figure information. CONSTITUTION:A composite video signal is branched through the output terminal of a receiving part 1, and a character figure signal is supplied to a sampling part 5. The character figure signal which is superposed in a vertical flyback section as a binary signal is extracted out of the composite video signal and then supplied to a decoder part 6 in the form of a binary signal. The decoder 6 decodes the binary signal and stores it to a display memory 7. Then the character figure information stored in the memory 7 is read out repetitively and converted into signals R, G and B at a video output part 8. These signals R, G and B are displayed to a CRT3 via a video output switching part 9. In addition, an external signal input terminal 16 is provided to the decoder part 6 of a teletext receiving part 15. Then the circuits following the decoder part 6 are shared for videotex purpose. |
