PURPOSE:To improve maintainability by simplify assembly quality, that is, by integrally connecting a driving unit to a shift rod. CONSTITUTION:A forward rotational gear 21 and its bearing 26 are assembled into a bottom casing 12 from the mounting side of a propeller 19 of the casing 12, then a tightening wrench or the like inserted into the casing 12 from the mounting side of the propeller 19 is used to fix a gear 23 to the end part of a driving shaft 24, and then a subassembly unit consisting of a bearing 27 of a reverse rotational gear 20, clutch unit 28, plunger 34 and driven unit 39 is inserted from the mounting side of the propeller 19 of the casing 12 and assembled to the gear 20. Finally integrally formed shift rod 44 and driving unit 50 are inserted into the casing 12 while the unit 50 is engaged to the unit 39 to enable the assembly of a whole unit. |
