PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of an angle, by providing relatively a freely rotable projecting side arm and photodetecting side arm for a rotating central axis of a rotating sample stand and attaching an optical system having an optical axis parallel to the arm to the projecting side arm and photodetecting side arm. CONSTITUTION:A projecting side arm 21 and a photodetecting side arm 23, are provided so as to place a rotating sample stand 22 in between and the arm 23 is provided at a position symmetrical to the arm 21 and the arm 21 and 23 are arranged freely rotatably centering a rotating central axis R of the stand 22. An optical system having an optical axis parallel to the arm is attached to the arm 21 and 23. By such constitution, reflected light is received all the time even if an incident angle to the sample surface is varied and the accuracy of the angle is improved and the analyzing measurement of polarized light is made easy. |
