PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of vibration by making the height of the side fitting portion of a rubber dam higher than the design water level of fallen dam in order to separate the overflow water by laying tensely a flexible plate from the lapped projection of the fitting portion of rubber dam to slope to the projection of the rubber dam body. CONSTITUTION:A flexible web type rubber dam 1 is air-tightly laid from the top 5a of the lower concrete 5 to a slope 5b adjacent to the river bank. The rubber dam 1 is made up of lapped belt-shaped rubber sheets 2, the lapped portion is tensely laid on the river bed, and the lapped side 3b of both ends 2b in the longitudinal direction of the belt-shaped rubber sheet 2 is tensely laid from the slope 5b to the top 5a of the lower concrete. Also, a flexible plate 4c is attached to the projected line 4a of the lapped portion over the area between the side wall fitting upside 1b of the rubber dam 1 and the body of the rubber dam, and the height of the side wall fitting upside is made higher than a designed water level of the rising and falling dam weir. |
