PURPOSE:To improve mounting quality of a rear bumper, by improving construction of combining a stiffener, rear floor and lower rear panel for mounting a trunk lid lock device in the construction of a car body rear part to which a rear bumper is mounted. CONSTITUTION:In a car body rear part to which a rear bumper 10 is mounted, an upper end part 3a of a stiffener 3 is fixed to an upper end part 1a of a rear panel 1, and the bottom end of this stiffener 3 is extensibly provided downward in the vertical direction from the general level of a rear floor 5 to form a welding margin S. While a rear end part 50 of the floor 5 is folded downward in a location adapted to the stiffener 3 and jointed to a vertical surface of said margin S. Further an upper end part of a lower rear panel 6 is folded to an almost L-shape so as to be contacted with the part 50 of the floor 5 to form a stepped part 60, and its upper end part 60a is fixed by welding to a welded part S'' in the location of said welding margin S integrally with a bottom end part 100 of the panel 1 and the part 50 of the floor 5. |
