PURPOSE:To enable discrimating of a poor condition of a fuel pump in distinction from a poor condition of a flame detecting part, by deciding a trouble condition, based on both combustion conditions before and during a prepurge period. CONSTITUTION:A first trouble condition signal S6 is obtained based on a combustion condition signal S4 before a prepurging period and is stored to generate a trouble condition memory signal S7 continuously outputted. Further, a second trouble condition signal S8 is obtained based on a combustion signal S4 during the prepurging period. In case only said signal S8 is obtained, a valve is decided to be a poor condition, and in case both the trouble condition memory signal S7 and the second trouble condition signal S8 are obtained, a flame detecting part is judged to be a faulty condition. This enables to perform an alarm display 7 separately displaying the two faulty conditions. |
