摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of the automatic transmission without producing unnecessary oil pressure by a structure wherein a cut-back valve, which produces cut-back pressure corresponding to throttle pressure and vehicular speed (governor pressure), is provided. CONSTITUTION:A first and a second ports 102i and 102h are provided at a regulator valve 2, which regulates the pressure of oil delivered from an oil pump O/P. Line pressure regulated by the regulator valve 2 is so contrived as to increase in proportion to the oil pressure introduced in said ports 102i and 102h. The throttle corresponding pressure (pressure modifier pressure or throttle pressure) is led to the first port 102i. On the other hand, the cut-back pressure, which is regulated by the cut-back valve so as to increase in proportion to the throttle corresponding pressure and at the same time decrease in proportion to the governor pressure, is led to the second port 102h. Owing to the structure as mentioned above, a line pressure characteristic, which is closely approximated to the characteristic of a torque to be inputted, is obtained.
