PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy in evaculating the calculation of an intake quantity, by determining the number of days since intaking of radioactive nuclear species in accordance with the value obtd. by measuring the ratio of the quantities of the radioactive nuclear species remaining in two pieces of the organ or the organ assembly of a human body. CONSTITUTION:The outputs of radioactivity detectors 3, 4 for the chest and the abdomen which measure the gamma rays released by the dust remaining in the chest and abdomen of a person 1 to be examined are connected respectively to radioactivity counters 5, 6, the outputs whereof are connected to an arithmetic unit 7. The outputs thereof are connected to a display 8 and an imaging printer 9. The ratio of the radioactivity of the remaining dust in the chest and abdomen is determined with the unit 7, and the number of the days elapsed since the inhalation and intake is determined from the value of said ratio and the curve of the change with time in the figure; further the intaken quantity is determined from the curve of the change in the remaining quantity with time. |
