PURPOSE:To reduce the shock at speed change by a structure wherein one accumulator, which actuates at speed changes from the 4th speed to the 3rd, 2nd and 1st speeds and yet at a changing-over from the N position to D position, is provided. CONSTITUTION:The accumulator 40 is provided in an oil passage 442 communicated to a clutch C3, which is engaged during the 1st, 2nd and 3rd speed runnings and disengaged during the 4th speed running and under the condition that the manual valve 4 is in the N position, so as to soften the rising of oil pressure in the clutch C3. As a result, the shock produced at the changing-over of the manual valve 4 from the N position to the D position and the shocks produced at the speed changes from the 4th speed to the 3rd, 2nd and 1st speeds can be reduced, resulting in simplifying the hydraulic circuit and lessening its necessary space. |
