PURPOSE:To easily further firmly mount a shoe piece, by forming a semicircular recessed part extended in the longitudinal direction of a ship to a ship bottom rear end part, fitting the pipe-shaped shoe piece supporting the bottom end of a rudder to said recessed part and fixing the shoe piece with a bolt. CONSTITUTION:A semicircular recessed part 8 extended in the longitudinal direction of a ship is formed to the rear end part of a ship bottom plate 2 in the small ship, and the base end part of a shoe piece 3 is fitted to this part 8 in such a manner that the peripheral surface of the base end part is attached in a surface contact. Then an insertion material 30 is inserted into the shoe piece 3, and a bolt 9 extending through this material 30 and the part 8 is tightened to fix the shoe piece 3. Here a packing 90 is arranged to the bolt 9 in the inside of the ship further the bolt is coated by a covering 21 to prevent a leak of water. The bottom end of a rudder 4 is supported through a supporting plate 5 to the point end side of the shoe piece 3 as fixed in the above, while a propeller shaft 60 is supported through holding arms 7 to an intermediate part of the shoe piece 3. |
