Reflecting decorative panel for e.g. automatic amusement machine - landscape pictures formed by translucent and opaque areas

The pane (1) of glass, Plexiglass (RTM), PVC or similar material nearest to the observer is coated with a layer (4) of silver nitrate (AgNO3) or similar product so as to form a reflecting mirror, but becomes transparent when placed in front of a light source such as a 25W lamp. Close behind it a second pane (2) of transparent glassy material has e.g. skyscraper image patterns applied to it in AgNO3 or other reflecting material and filled-in with paint or ink for selective opacity. A third pane (3) of translucent material carries patterns controbuting to compsn. of the picture represented by the ornamental panel. It is decorated with translucent paint and ink giving an enhanced effect of depth when illuminated from behind by discharge tubes (5).
