PURPOSE:To enable the freedom degree of the installation position of an apparatus body to be increased by enabling the battery exchange to be performed irrespective of the installation position of the apparatus body by using a power supply device which has a high versatility and is constituted by integratingly installing a commercial-alternating-current receiving part, a rectifying part and a storage battery in the same case. CONSTITUTION:A contact 10 used as a power source plug for receiving a commercial alternating current, a rectifier and DC-DC converter part which is positioned in an area 12 (indicated by broken lines), and a battery 4 are integratedly installed in a case 9. A d.c. electric power is supplied to an apparatus by means of a d.c. output cord 13. Owing to such a structure, there is not need to secure a space used for the installation of a power supply device in the apparatus working as a load. In addition, it is desirable that the battery 4 can be handily exchanged by enabling the installation space for the battery 4 of the case 9 to be easily opened and closed. |
