The display packaging unit is made of a unitary blank, consisting of a centre part formed of a continuation of a base-part. This part via a cold line serves as a support surface of which the end edge is situated against the folding edge between a top surface and the upper side surface of the packaging unit. Extending support-lips of the side surfaces protect the contents against breakage.
