<p>The support is designed for incorporation in beehive honeycomb and comprises a sheet of expanded metal which is drawn out to form a hexagonal network. The hexagonal elements (2) are of a similar size to cells formed by bees i.e. they have a width (h) of between 5 and 6mm measured between sides. The support may incorporate the attachment by which it is anchored in the honeycomb it may be attached to a timber cross piece.</p> |
