PURPOSE:To make plastics into pellets readily without using water for cooling, by utilizing the manufacturing apparatus of plastic pellets composed of an extruder provided with nozzles along the circular periphery of a delivery die and a ventilation cylinder having a cutter, being connected to said extruder. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of nozzles 3...3 are drilled along the circular periphery of a circular delivery die 2 attached to the tip of an extruder 1 and viscous plastic is continuously delivered from the nozzles. The front face 5 of a pelletizing cutter 4 is arranged so as to closely contact with the delivery die 2 of the extruder, the opening part 6 of a cutter 4 back end is connected with a blower 8 via a duct 7 and an air cooler 13 and a pelletized product is gathered from the takeout port 9 of the pelletized product in front of the cutter 4 into a silo 11 via duct 10. Thereby, plastics can be readily pelletized without necessitating to cool it with water. |
