The framework of this sign-board is made from stainless steel which has been etched or sand-blasted to reduce unwanted reflection. It is attached to the post (15) by semi-cylindrical clamps welded to the frame-work. The text-boards, which are made of impact-resistive plastic are slid into grooves at the top and bottom of either face of the frame. They are then secured in place by a hinged (27) end plate (62) which is screwed onto an internal bracket. A similar version has an internal fluorescent lamp and translucent text-boards. The construction inhibits rainwater from entering the space between the boards, and water condensing insdie can run out through angled channels bored at intervals along the framework bottom.
