PURPOSE:To provide pressure sensitive coloration copying paper, by a method wherein an acidic inorg. pigmentary coloration agent is used as an acid coloration agent and amphoteric polymer latex is compounded in a binder layer. CONSTITUTION:In a pressure sensitive coloration copy paper prepared by providing a coloration recording layer containing an acidic coloration agent and a binder on a support, the acidic coloration agent contains 30-100% on the basis of the wt. thereof of an acidic inorg. pigmentary coloration agent and the binder contains amphoteric polymer latex in an amount of 5-40% on the basis of the total solid content of the coloration recording layer. As the acidic inorg. pigmentary coloration agent, acid clay, aluminum silicate or talc are used and, as the amphoteric polymer latex, the latex of a synthetic rubber polymer having an anionic functional group and a cationic functional group together showing amphotericity is used. The obtained coloration paper is high in color development concn. and good in light resistance of a color image. |
