PURPOSE:To enable a power supply to be controlled even in a system reset period by constructing a system wherein a voltage controller including voltage detection means, booster and step-down transformer means and limiter means is operated even in the system reset period. CONSTITUTION:An electromotive force due to a generating mechanism 1 is rectified by a diode 7 and charged in a charge storing member 3. Limiter means 2 by-passes surplus current so that a voltage VSC above a prescribed value is not charged in the member 3. Booster and step-down transformer means 8 raises or drops the voltage VSC to charge a voltage VSS within a prescribed voltage range in a backup capacitor 5. Voltage detection means 4 controls the voltages VSC and VSS. Timer means 6 controls an entire system including a oscillator circuit, frequency divider, external switch control means and a variety of time piece functions. The timer means 6 resets part of the frequency divider and the various time piece functions in a system resetting and holds the voltage detection means 4, limiter means 2 and booster and step-down transformer means 8 in operative conditions. Thus, a voltage control can be performed even in a system reset period. |
