PURPOSE:To prepare a product having much varied thickness through molding with excellent yield rate of material by replenishing resin to any desired place of worked substance in the process of blow molding by means of an auxiliary plunger. CONSTITUTION:In addition to the main injection port 8 for blow molding, an auxiliary plunger, i.e. an auxiliary injection port 11 is provided in a molding machine, and the replenishment of resin to any desired place of worked substance in the process of blow molding is performed by means of the auxiliary plunger 11. This method is effective, in particular, for preparation of a product having much varied thickness such as a vessel with projections. In molding of a vessel with an edge, for instance, the occurrence of flashes in the lateral direction is all gone since the method wherein the replenishment is performed through the injection port 11 by means of the auxiliary plunger after a mold being closed is employed, and the yield rate of material is raised as the worked substance turns to be more complex. |
