PURPOSE:To reproduce information continuously, when the reproduction is restarted, by storing the position at temporary stop and start, operating the tracking function during the stop and changing the readout point with track jumping if the readout point is different from the stored position. CONSTITUTION:In operating a temporary stop switch 6 and stopping a disc reproducer temporarily, a gate 7 is driven, a position index signal at temporary stop and start is stored in a memory 8, and a comparison circuit 9 is driven. A disc is rotated at the stopping state and a position index signal read out at a pickup means 1 is changed. This signal is applied to the circuit 9 and compared with the stored value in the memory 8, and when dissidence is detected, then a track jump pulse generating circuit 10 is driven, the track jump is done, the readout point of the means 1 is restored and placed near the readout point at the temporary stop and start. |
