PURPOSE:To eliminate inconvenience that a float attaches to the wall face of a fluid reservoir or to the wall of a measuring hole and make it unnecesary to wait for the end of up-and-down movement of a hydrometer by sealing a weight in the bottom section of an object that has the same thermal expansion coefficient as a fluid to be measured. CONSTITUTION:A main body 1 should have the same thermal expansion coefficient as a fluid to be measured and its specific gravity at the standard temperatur shoud be lower than the specific gravity of the fluid to be measured and it should be chemically stable for the fluid. A weight 2 is for setting the graduation line of the hydrometer parallel to liquid level, and it should be chemically stable for the main body 1. As for the difference between thermal expansion coefficients of the main body 1 and the weight 2, it can be solved by means in the manufacture. As for the graduation 3, if digital values are not specifically required, the graduation can be made only for showing the control range values for specific gravity of the liquid. |
