发明名称 APPARATUS FOR CONTINUOUSLY MEASURING ELECTROLYTE IN URINE
摘要 PURPOSE:To continuously measure the quantity of a specific electrolyte in urine at a fixed time interval by computing a product of the quantity of urine and the concentration of the specific electrolyte therein at a prescribed time interval with an arithmetic circuit. CONSTITUTION:Urine from a patient passes through a tube 2 from a urine introduction catheter 1 arranged in the body thereof and introduced to a urine storage reservoir 3 due to a head difference to be stored temporarily. The concentration of the specific electrolyte in the urine 5 stored in the reservoir 3 is measured with an ion selectivity electrode 11 for detecting the concentration of, for example, potassium ion only and a reference electrode 12. An electrocial signal corresponding to the concentration of the electrolyte is introduced into a signal conversion circuit 14 to linearize the relationship between the concentration thereof and the electrical signal. An output of the signal conversion circuit 14 is introduced to the arithmetic circuit 15 to compute the product of the quantity of urine and the concentration of the specific electrolyte therein within a preset time. In this manner, the quantity of the specific electrolyte in the urine is determined within the certain time and indicated on an electrolyte display 19 while an output signal 20 is generated.
