<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a firm joint, by shaping a pillar like jointing protrusion having a hole at its tip on a long fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin product, fitting the protrusion into the jointing hole of another member and pressing said jointing protrusion with a vibrating horn having a protrusion at the center of a concavely curved face. CONSTITUTION:When forming a long fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin composite product 10, a pillar like jointing protrusion 16 is shaped by rising a part of said composite material 10, a central hole 18 is shaped at the center of the tip part of said jointing protrusion 16 at the same time as or after shaping said joint protrusion 16. Then, said jointing protrusion 16 is fitted into the jointing hole 20 of another member 12 to be jointed and the tip of the jointing protrusion 16 is pushed by a supersonic vibrating horn 22 provided with a head forming face 26 in which a protrusion 28 is shaped at the center of a concavely curved face. The peripheral part of the central hole 18 is heated, softened and bent outside and a draw-off proof head 24 is shaped. Thereby, a firm joint is obtained.</p> |
