摘要

Thermoplastic resin compsn. with improved weld strength is claimed which comprises (A) a polycarbonate resin (I) and (B) a rubber modified copolymer (II) with (C) an epoxy gp. contg. olefin copolymer (III). (II) is made by polymerising monomers comprising aromatic vinyl cpds., vinyl cyanides and alkyl esters of unsatd. carboxylic acids in the presence of conjugated diene rubbers and/or ethylene -propylene rubbers. The wt. proportion of (I):(II) is 10:90-90:10 and the compsn. contains 0.1-40 (0.5-10) pts. wt.% of (III). The incorporation of (III) results in improved impact and heat resistance and makes it suitable for injection moulding of prods. with satisfactory weld parts. Other resins such as polyethylene or additives such as dyes etc. can be incorporated in the compsn.
