Device for producing polycrystalline metal whiskers by depositing ferromagnetic metals in the gas phase in a magnetic field in which the reaction chamber temperature necessary to decompose the metal carbonyl is produced by inducing high-frequency currents in the reaction chamber wall, which is constructed as a metal tube, and in the whiskers produced and formed.
