摘要 The invention relates to a dipole antenna array which is preferably used as an end-fire array for the reception of broadcast radio and television transmissions. With the exception of the dipole containing the antenna connecting point, the dipoles of the antenna are connected individually or all together to interruption points, by means of frequency-dependent complex impedances. The spatial arrangement of the dipoles and of the interruption points on said dipole are suitably defined and the frequency-dependent complex impedances are implemented in such a manner that the antenna in each case has a virtually maximum directional effect which can be achieved with the specified array arrangement in at least two frequency channels, which are separated in terms of frequency, in one predetermined spatial direction. A significantly smaller directional effect and front-to-back ratio are obtained in this case in the frequency band between the frequency channels. The complex impedances, which as a rule consist of low-loss reactive elements, are preferably constructed such that the reactance level and the number and frequency positions of the poles and null points of the reactance functions of these circuits are selected in such a manner that the desired directional effect is obtained in the frequency channels. The reactive elements are preferably implemented by printed circuits whose artworks are produced with the aid of a digital computer installation.
