Damping insert for a wall connection piece of a sanitary fitting

The damping insert is suitable for use in a wall connection piece of a sanitary fitting and serves for damping the flow noises. It consists of a hose piece (15) of foam rubber and of a rigid bush (11) which is loosely inserted into the hose piece. A flange (12) which is integrally moulded on the bush (11) bears on one end wall of the hose piece. A loosely mounted and axially displaceable disc (16), the end position of which is defined by a bead (14) integrally moulded on the bush, bears on the other end wall of the hose piece.
