Two structural elements are joined together by forming a T slot (12) in one of the elements. The second element (14) is in the form of a screwed bar (14) and is clamped across the T slot (12) by a clamp or roughly L shape. The corner of the L shape is rounded and forms a half-cylinder (31) with a thread to match the bar. One arm (32) of the L is slotted to match the flanges of the T slot. The other arm of the L has a hole for a T bolt fitted in the T slot are retained by a nut (60).. The two structural elements are joined by tightening a single nut and is thus simpler than existing devices of this type. |
