<p>To vary the point of balance of a ball-striking implement, in particular a tennis or squash racket, a peripheral cord, strap (14) or the like is arranged inside the frame (12) of the ball-striking implement, which cord can be driven from the outside and to which a weight (10) is attached. By moving the strap (14), the weight (10) can easily be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the frame and the point of balance of the implement can thus be altered. To suppress transverse vibrations of the strap (14) and/or of the weight (10) and knocking or rattling noises caused thereby, the weight (10), the strap (14) and/or the inside walls of the hollow frame (12), in particular the shaft (22), are provided with a vibration-damping or shock-absorbing element (15, 52, 54). <IMAGE></p> |
