The invention relates to individual bibs and/or a bib tear-off block - disposable bibs - with detachable sheets, especially for covering the clothing on feeding of babies and infants. When the hitherto customary terrycloth (textile) bibs are soiled it is necessary to clean (wash/boil) them. Despite this cleaning, left-over stains from mashed food, bottled carrots, vegetable drinks etc. are visible. The invention is based on the object of reducing the number of types of baby bibs, avoiding cleaning of the soiled bibs and simplifying handling. Closures, neck fastening, neck border and tear-off edge are provided with matching pieces. <IMAGE>
