In order to improve the chimney draught, the top is provided with a number of concentric guide rings (10), which sit securely on support members (11). The topmost and the lowest guide rings (10) are inclined outwards and downwards. Situated in the central area between the topmost and second top guide ring (10) is a device (12) which also sits securely on the support members (11) and comprises walls (13, 14) inclined conically outwards towards each other. For secure clamping on the outlet (9) of a chimney, a screw spindle (17) is provided, with which the inner ends of the elongate clamping members (16) secured on the support members (11) engage, which clamping members (16) have bent parts (19), so that they can be brought into a clamped position on the outlet (9). <IMAGE>
