<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of each part of a recording/reproducing device due to the impacts caused by the insertion of a cassette, by shifting a holding member between the cassette inserting position and the cassette loading end position and inhibiting the shift of the holding member by a drive mechanism based on the detection timing difference. CONSTITUTION:A cassette abuts the stoppers 12a and 12b of a holder 10 and the shift of the holder 10 is started together with the rotation of a rotary plate 50. Then the plate 50 is turned off by a switch SW1 and a switch SW2 is turned on when the cassette is further pushed to the inside. Thus the revolution of a motor 25 is started and the automatic loading of the holder 10 is started. When the loading of the cassette is completed, a switch SW3 is turned on and the revolution of the motor 25 is stopped. A latch circuit 77 performs its latching action by the turn-on timing of the SW2 and a comparator 78 compares the latched data with the prescribed data DA. If the data DA is larger than the latched data, an output is performed at a high level to stop the revolution of the motor 25. Then the motor 25 is reversed to prevent the cassette loading operation.</p> |
