<p>To protect the operator of an electrically supplied apparatus in a damp room against an electric discharge, there is provided a protection device comprised of a probe formed by two conductors (44, 45; 46, 47) which cannot come in contact with the user when handling the apparatus; in presence of humidity, the impedance of the probe varies, thereby causing through the ignition circuit the triggering of a semiconductor switch (17). The current resulting therefrom opens a mechanical switch (3, 4) of which the contact is arranged in the electric supply line. The contact is maintained closed by a fuse element (10; 12) which melts by the current effect.</p> |
