PURPOSE:To automatize the feeding, mounting and retaining of the work of a complicated shape in a machine while detecting abnormality in the supply by feeding it with a loading means synchronizing the movement of a jig block to hold the work. CONSTITUTION:A slide frame 10 is arranged outside a rotary table 1 provided with a plurality of jig blocks 2 in such a manner as to move in the tangential direction. The work W such as conrod fed with a chute 16 fixed on the slide frame 10 is grasped with guide plates 35 and 38 at the tip of a loading block 23 supported on the frame 10 with a shaft 21. According to a detection signal 53 thereof, a cylinder 12 is driven to move the slide frame 10 synchronizing the table 1 with a claw 14 contacting a dog 15 of the table 1 so that the guide plates 35 and 38 advance to send the work Wb to a jig block 2.
