PURPOSE:To maintain excellent result of cutting with fine sharpness even for different thicknesses of metal sheets to be processed by a method in which either a punching edge or a stationary edge is made into non-circular form and the other edge is made into circular form and then the edge of non-circular form is rotated. CONSTITUTION:A punching edge 42 is formed at the side of a recessed part 32 with its oval section, and a stationary edge is made into a circular shape. The punching edge 42 is rotated by a rotation-lever and the clearance (C1-C2) between the punching edge and the stationary edge is adjusted corresponding to the thickness of a metal sheet. In this case, it is possible that the section of the punching edge is made into a circular shape and the section of the stationary edge is made into a non-circular shape and then the stationary edge is rotated by a lever, and further the clearance between the stationary edge and the punching edge is selected corresponding to the metal sheet thickness. |
