PURPOSE:To provide a composite container having excellent preservability for food cntained therein, consisting of an outer member composed of a paper substrate for shape retention and an inner member made of a flexible plastic having gas barrier properties. CONSTITUTION:A cup-shaped outer member 1 (numeral 3 represents a cup body, 4 is a cup bottom) composed of a paper substrate (gas-permeable) and a seamless cup-shaped inner member 2 having gas barrier properties provicted with a polymer blend layer composed of 95-5pts.wt. ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymer and 5-95pts.wt. polyamide, having a draw ratio defined by H/D (wherein H is the height of an inner member and D is the opening size) of 0.5 or above, and having a cup wall molecular-orientated are joined to each other through an adhesive layer 7 between opening ends 5 and 8 to form a composite container (numeral 9 is a lid material provided with a heat sealant 11). |
