The invention relates to a time sequence control for electronically controlled breathing apparatus, using integrated circuits of sensor technology, in which breathing rate and ratio of breathing time are to be set in a calibrated manner and varied independently of one another. It essentially consists of two shift register chains, known per se, which are in each case formed by connecting together two 3-bit counters and two binary 1-of-8 decoders. The clock inputs C of the 3-bit counters of the first shift register chain are connected to a squarewave generator via a frequency divider and are acted upon by a clock signal fT/1. Various clock frequencies fT/2 are generated for the second shift register chain by variable resetting. A flip flop is connected to the output of the second shift register chain in such a manner that it is set by the first output pulse and reset by a later variable output pulse. The last output pulse resets the 3-bit counters of the second shift register chain so that a breathing time ratio can be set independently. |
