PURPOSE:To shorten the staying time in a control area and to perform an unmanned penetration test at the time when an inspector is absent and also, to put a radiation source to practical use, by sticking a film to all points to be tested and arranging several delivery pipes of the radiation source and then, performing the penetration test in good order in accordance with various penetration items. CONSTITUTION:A radiation source sent out from an irradiation vessel 1 is reached from a delivery main pipe 2 to a branch station 3. A pulse motor 5 is operated by the station 3 by an indication of a microcomputer 4 and the radiation source is reached to a penetration part 7 connecting successively to delivery branch pipes 6. After finish of the penetration test, of one place the radiation source is housed in the vessel 1 through the pipe 6 and the main pipe 2. And so forth, the penetration test is performed in good order at the part 7 in accordance with the indication from the microcomputer 4 under unmanned conditions. In this manner, the operation efficiency is improved and the time is saved in inverse proportion to an increase of penetration test places and also, the effect of safety is improved remarkably. |
