PURPOSE:To record television signals excellently, by controlling the rotating phase of a cylindrical recording medium constituent automatically so that a vertical synchronizing signal of the television signal being the objective of recording on a specific bus position is recorded. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical recording medium MS is loaded to a drive mechanism MD and a motor 17 is rotated in a specified number of revolutions, e.g., 3,600rpm, then a recording medium M of the MS is rotated with a stable surface condition through the operation of air bearings in high speed and excellent recording is performed with a recording element 13. The recording element 13 fitted to an actuator 50 is contacted on the recording surface of the medium M of the MS and carried in a specified carrying mode, then a spiral or a cylindrical recording track is formed on the recording surface of the medium M. |
