PURPOSE:To obtain the entitled color photographic sensitive material capable of obtaining high intensification efficiency, by adding an amt. of silver halide grains not below a specified number per unit area and an excess amt. of coupler per silver halide to a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:Silver halide grains having >=0.6gamma' (average grain radius) in radius are added to a silver halide photosensitive emulsion layer by at least 5X10<11> per m<2>. An amt. of coupler excessive by >=80% based on the stoichiometric amt. is added to the silver halide. Preferably, silver halide grains having monodisperse distribution satisfying inequality and equationI(S is equation II, gamma' is equation III, ri is radius of the ith grains and ni is a number of the ith grains) are used, and the coupler is added to the silver halide grains by <=3.5X 10<-15>gram equiv. per one grain. |
