PURPOSE:To remove the miss of inspection and to improve the operability, by selecting the optimum illumination and irradiation color for the inspection in accordance with coating color and irradiating the selected color. CONSTITUTION:A sensor 2 discriminates the coating color of a car 1 in accordance with the coating color of the coated surface 1a and sends a signal to a microcomputer 5, which selects the optimum illumination and irradiation color for the inspection of the coating color. An adjusting device 6 receives the signal selected by the microcomputer 5 and adjusts the voltage to be applied from a power supply 7 to lighting equipment 8. Since the light having the optimum illumination and irradiation color for the inspection is irradiated to the coated surface 1a of the car 1, the operation to specially change the lighting equipment can be omitted and precise inspection can be performed. |
