Screen for protecting the turbine (3) and its resistance (4) from grease deposits and various splashes in what is known as a multi-functional or convection type electric oven, characterized in that the protective screen consists of a screen-panel disposed in removable or concealable fashion in front of the perforated induction zone (2) of the rear plate of the oven, constituting the intake mouth of the turbine, held there at a fixed distance defining a constant gap (5) forming a shield, the gap being such that the cross-section of the passage in the shield thus formed between the screen and the said mouth corresponds at least to the intake cross-section of the turbine.
