PURPOSE:To prevent the stoppage of an engine in a device to control fuel discharge in accordance with the humidity of suction air by stopping or reducing the humidity compensation of the fuel discharge at the time of low load including idling for avoiding the excessive reduction of air-fuel mixture. CONSTITUTION:When the humidity of suction air of an engine 1 is high and the engine 1 is idling, a compensation rate generating circuit 15 prepares a required compensation rate on the basis of a signal from a humidity sensor 5 for outputting to a compensation rate correction circuit 16, which calculates a reduction rate lower than the reduction rate of the fuel discharge indicated by the compensation rate on the basis of a signal from a switch 7 indicating ''on'' of an idling switch 6 and outputs this corrected compensation rate to a computation circuit 12. The said circuit 12 calculates a basic injection pulse from a basic injection pulse generating circuit 11 and the said corrected compensation rate and outputs a required pulse to a fuel injection valve 7 for injecting fuel. |
