PURPOSE:To enhance the rising effect of air supply pressure in order to enhance a combustion performance in an apparatus being provided with two exhaust turbo superchargers by improving the arrangement of an exhaust cut-off valve disposed in an exhaust pipe at the supercharger side to be stopped at the low speed range of the engine. CONSTITUTION:The compressed air supply from blowers 13b, 14b of first and second exhaust turbo superchargers 13, 14 is supercharged from an air supply pipe 15 to a cylinder 11. An intake air cut-off valve 16 is disposed in a passage introducing the air supply from said blower 13b to said air supply pipe 15. Further, exhaust pipes 12a, 12b are formed independently corresponding to No.1 to No.3 and No.4 to No.6, while one exhaust cut-off valve 17 forming a part of a partition of an exhaust passage coming from exhaust pipes 12a, 12b is disposed. When said exhaust valve 17 is closed together with said intake air cut-off valve 16 at the low speed range of an engine, not only the passage to a turbine 13a is closed but also the exhaust passage communicating to said exhaust pipe 12a is joined with the exhaust passage connected to said exhaust pipe 12b. |
