PURPOSE:To hold a photoreceptor and an electrifier at an invariably specific interval through simple constitution by providing specifying members which specifies the position of the electrifier by contacting the photoreceptor at four corners of the electrifier supported by a coiled spring. CONSTITUTION:The photoreceptor 6 is fitted to an upper unit 26, a corona discharger as the electrifier is fitted to a lower unit 28, and the both are provided in such a way that they are allowed to contact and leave each other in case of a paper jam. The discharger 34 is divided into two rooms for a transfer device and peeling and a discharging wire 33 is extended while supported elastically by the coiled spring 37; and guide rolls 39 are provided at the four corners of the top surface at both its ends. Therefore, when the upper unit 26 and lower unit 28 are superposed upon each other, the guide rolls 39 contact a nonpicture part of the photoreceptor 6 to position the discharger 34 and the photoreceptor 6 and discharging part are held at the invariably constant interval to perform stable discharging. |
