PURPOSE:To reduce the number of expendable supplies and service parts and the running cost and to improve the service, by using an supply empty vessel as a developer recovering vessel. CONSTITUTION:A supply vessel 13 is formed to a shape like a bottle, and the developer to be supplied is packed in this vessel 13. An openable seal 13B is stuck to an aperture part 13A of the supply vessel 13, and a sealing-up member such as a closing seal 14 which can close said aperture part 13A after storing a recovered developer is stuck to the side part of the vessel 13 tearably. After the seal 13B is torn off to supply the developer into a developing device, the supply vessel 13 is used as the developer recovering vessel. A holding device 15 is provided in the leading end part of a carrying path 12b of a cleaning device 12 and is made hollow to connect the carrying path 12b and the aperture part 13A of the supply vessel 13. |
