PURPOSE:To pack granular materials densely in a coiled tubular wire by locating said tubular wire so as to assume a perpendicular winding axis, and applying turning motion inclined with respect to a horizontal plane thereto, thereby packing the granular materials into the tubular wire. CONSTITUTION:A coiled tubular wire 1 is placed on an oscillation table 3 so as to assume roughly the perpendicular winding axis, and granular materials 6 are supplied from a vessel 5 through a flexible pipe 4 to the opening end on one side thereof. The table 3 is supported oscillatably by means of four springs 7, and two unbalance motors 8 are suspended under the table 3 in the slightly spaced positions where both motors face each other with the coil axis in-between. When the motors 8 are driven and are oscillated respectively in arrow directions, turning oscillations and vertical oscillations are induced in the wire 1, and the materials 6 are packed densely in the tube 1. The tube 1 is drawn, whereby a desired filler metal is produced. The grain sizes of the materials 6 are controlled to about 0.3-2.0mm.. |
