PURPOSE:To facilitate the mounting and fixing works of a coil assembly into a magnetic shield by forming a circumferential groove on the outer periphery of an insulating retainer which covers the outer periphery of a stator coil and winding a bind in the groove. CONSTITUTION:A stator coil 4 is disposed on the outer peripheral side of an insulating cylinder 3, and coil 4 is covered with an insulating retainer 11, a plurality of binding grooves 11a are formed circumferentially on the outer periphery of the retainer 11, an insulating bind 12 is wound in the groove 11, and the coil 4 and the cylinder 3 are radially compressed to form a coil assembly. The assembly is inserted into a magnetic shield 1 formed in a cylindrical shape integral with laminated silicon steel plates, and fixing means for radially pressing the coil 4 such as a tapered wedge 8 split in thicknesswise direction is axially hitted between the inner periphery of the shield 1 and the outer periphery of the retainer 11. |
