PURPOSE:To enhance the space factor of a stator coil by contacting and covering an L-shaped insulating contact member with the corner of a stator coil near engaging projections formed on the inner periphery of a magnetic shield, thereby extending the ground insulating creeping distance of the coil. CONSTITUTION:A stator coil 4 is disposed on the outer peripheral side of an insulating cylinder, an insulating spacer 11 is provided between the coils 4, and an insulating spacer 5 is provided on the outer peripheral side of the coil 4, thereby forming a coil assembly, which is inserted into a cylindrical magnetic shield, and fixing means for radially pressing the coil 4 such as a wedge 9 is formed between the shield 1 and the retainer 5. Engaging projections 11a formed on the upper one side of the spacer 11 are beared circumferentially by axial engaging projections 1a formed on the inner peripheral surface of the shield 1. A notch 11b is formed on the spacer 11 near the projection 1a of the coil 4, and an L-shaped insulating contact member which covers the corner of the coil 4 is provided at the notch 11b. |
