<p>PURPOSE:To improve the contrast of an image and permit suitable use for a video projector by fusing a phosphor panel and a front panel through the sealing part subjected to the treatment for reducing the reflectance and removing the unnecessary reflected light in the sealing part. CONSTITUTION:Black adhesive is used for the sealing part between a phosphor panel 2 and a front panel 1, especially as a resin adhesive layer 5'. Therefore, the scattered light generated from the phosphor surface is absorbed by the resin adhesive layer 5', unnecessary reflected light can be suppressed, and the contrast on the image peripheral part can be improved when the captioned tube is used as a video projector. Further, if also the surface of a spacer 3 is subjected to the darkening treatment or the surface roughening treatment, generation of the unnecessary reflected light can be suppressed, the contrast of an image can be improved, and further the thermal absorption in the case when the darkening treatment is applied, may be improved and the heat radiating effect of the spacer 3 can be accelerated more.</p> |
